This guide shows you how to share pinboards with your clients so you can collaborate and gather feedback on your design work.

Before you begin: If you're planning to publish pinboards to your Client Dashboard, make sure you've set up your Client Dashboard styling first.

Publishing pinboards to the Client Dashboard

You can publish a pinboard directly from your Project Files list or from within the pinboard itself.

From your Project Files list:

  1. Locate the pinboard you want to share

  2. Click the 3-dot menu on the file

  3. Select Share

From within an open pinboard:

  1. Open your pinboard

  2. Click the Share option in the top right corner

Both methods will open a sharing panel on the right side of your screen where you can:

  1. Toggle on Publish to Client Dashboard

  2. Add your recipients (clients) using the recipient field

  3. Upload a custom thumbnail image to appear on the Client Dashboard (optional)

Sharing via online link

Follow the same steps as above to open the sharing panel, then:

  1. Toggle on Publish to Web

  2. Click the page icon to copy the live pinboard link

  3. Share the copied link with your clients through your preferred communication method

Understanding client viewing options

When clients access your shared pinboard, they can choose between two viewing modes:

  • Presentation Mode (default) hides notes and hyperlinks for a clean, design-focused view. Clients can click into any image to access its notes and links.

  • Detail Mode displays note snippets and hyperlink icons directly on the pinboard's main view.

Your clients can toggle between these modes using the play button icon (Presentation Mode) or bullet point list icon (Detail Mode) at the top right of their screen.
