Sharing your Schedule online can be done in two ways: publishing it to the web, or publishing it to the Client Dashboard. Both methods have their benefits, but each is best suited for specific situations.
Sharing your Schedule with the online link
Using the online link is a simple way to share your Schedule with others. The link is always up to date, ensuring that your clients and contractors have access to the most recent version of your schedule.
Instructions:
Open your Project, and click on the three dot menu next to the Schedule you would like to share, or click into your Schedule.
Click the 'Share' button.
Turn on the 'Publish to Web' option.
Choose what information to display or hide by toggling the various fields on or off.
Preview your online Schedule by clicking the box and arrow icon.
Copy the link by clicking the page icon.
Send the link to your recipient.
💡 To make your Schedule private again, follow the same steps and toggle off the 'Publish to Web' option. This will deactivate the live link and remove the 'Public' status and green checkmark from your Schedule.
When a Schedule has been published to the web, the status column against that schedule with show as "Public".
Sharing your Schedule using the Client Dashboard
The Client Dashboard is a powerful tool that provides a consolidated access point for designers to publish project Schedules and files for their clients to review. With customizable features like publishing and un-publishing Schedules, hiding sensitive details, and adding custom branding, the Client Dashboard streamlines project management, and saves time.
Instructions:
Within your Project Files list, click the three dot menu to the right of the Schedule you want to share, or click into your Schedule.
Select the 'Share' button.
Toggle on 'Publish to Client Dashboard'.
Add your client’s email address in the provided field and click 'Add'.
Once their email is added, select the 'Access' dropdown next to their email and choose the desired access level for your client.
Repeat this process for each schedule you want to publish to the Client Dashboard.
Within your project file list, you can see the clients you’ve shared the schedule with under the 'Shared with' column. Hover over the client count to see the email addresses of clients who can view this schedule on their Client Dashboard.
