Video Tutorial
Please note: Our platform's design has recently been updated, so you may notice differences in screenshots and videos in this guide compared to the current layout. The steps and functionality outlined in this guide remains the same.
Accessing Your Project Dashboard
You'll receive an email from your designer, which includes a link to a specific schedule and your Project Dashboard homepage. We recommend bookmarking either one of these links for quick future access to your project information.
If you accidentally delete this email or lose your dashboard link, your designer can re-issue you a new link email.
Navigating Your Project Dashboard Homepage
On your project dashboard homepage, you will find two main sections:
Schedules: This section includes schedules that have been published to the dashboard by your designer.
Shared Files: Here, you can view and download any miscellaneous shared files.
To download a shared file, simply hover your mouse over the file name and click to initiate the download. To access a shared schedule, click on any of the available files to open the schedule in a new tab.
Understanding and Using the Shared Schedule
The shared schedule is a live link to your product specification, which is always up-to-date. It's mobile and tablet responsive, so you can access information on any device. The information is stored in three separate views:
Summary View: The front page of your schedule is the summary view, containing all the top-line specification details for each product.
Detailed View: Accessible by clicking the arrow at the end of the product row, the detailed view includes notes, additional images, custom specifications, and product attachments to download. (Please note this is an optional feature, so if you can't see the detailed view, it means your designer hasn't issued access to this part of the spec.)
Financial View: To view pricing information, click the financial tab. In this view, you'll see unit retail and client prices, as well as a total price for the product based on the specified quantity. You'll also see a section total for all items in that part of the schedule and a total value for all products specified in the spec. (Please note this is an optional feature, so if you can't see the detailed view, it means your designer hasn't issued access to this part of the spec.)
If you prefer to view your schedule as an image-based layout, simply click the grid icon in the top right-hand corner to switch on presentation mode. You can scroll through each of these products in a gallery view by clicking on any one of the product images and using the left and right arrows to navigate through the gallery.
Approving Products in the Client Dashboard
The product approvals feature in our platform empowers you to review and provide feedback on products submitted by your designers. This guide will walk you through the process of accessing the approvals section and effectively managing product approvals.
Accessing the Approvals Section:
Log in to your dashboard and navigate to the "Schedule" heading.
Click on the "Approvals and Feedback" tab to access the approvals section.
Here, you will find a list of products awaiting your review and approval.
Reviewing Products for Approval:
Take the time to review each product listed in the approvals section.
Pay attention to the product details, including specifications and other relevant information provided by the designer.
Providing Feedback and Making Decisions:
For each product, you have the option to either approve or reject it based on your evaluation.
Click the corresponding "Approve" or "Reject" button next to the product.
If necessary, use the comment box provided to share any comments or feedback with the designer.
You can choose to provide feedback on individual products or use the "Approve All" or "Reject All" buttons for bulk actions.
Ensuring Clear Communication:
Make sure your feedback is specific, constructive, and clear.
If rejecting a product, clearly explain the reasons for rejection and provide suggestions for improvement.
If you need to undo a approval/rejection decision, please contact your designer directly for them to resubmit the product.
The product approvals feature streamlines the process of reviewing and providing feedback on products your designer has chosen. By following this guide, you can effectively collaborate with your design team, ensure the quality of approved products, and maintain clear communication throughout the process.
We hope this tutorial helps you understand how to use your new Client Dashboard effectively. Your dashboard is a powerful tool designed to streamline communication, keep track of project progress, and ensure that you have full visibility over the products chosen for your space. Enjoy the collaboration with your designer and watch your dream space come to life!
