This guide shows you how to connect your Canva designs, proposals, and documents to Programa so you can share them directly with clients through their dashboard.
Step 1 - Retrieving Your Smart Embed Link from Canva
Open your Canva file and click Share, then More
Select Live Embed to generate your connection link
Click Embed again in the pop-up
Copy the Smart embed link
💡 Tip: You can revoke access anytime by clicking Delete embed in Canva. This breaks the connection to Programa, and you can regenerate the link later if needed.
Step 2 - Connecting Your Canva File to Programa
Navigate to your project and click the Create file button to the top right of your screen
Select Canva Embed from the file type options
Enter a Presentation Name
Paste your Smart embed link from Step 1
Click Add
Step 3 - Publishing to the Client Dashboard
Share your Canva files with clients the same way you share Schedules and Pinboards:
Open your Canva file from your Project Files list, or click the three-dot menu next to the file
Click the Share button
Toggle on Publish to Client Dashboard
Enter your client's email address and click Add
Note: Use the Publish to Web toggle if you need to share with trades, contractors, or other third parties.
