Sharing your Canva-built designs, proposals, and documents with clients is easier than ever, with our seamless Canva integration!
Step 1 - Retrieve your Smart Embed link from Canva
Open your chosen Canva file, and select 'Share', then 'More'
From here, select 'Embed' to generate a link you'll use to connect this file to Programa
Click 'Embed' again
Now copy the 'Smart embed link' to use in Programa
💡 Tip: If you need to remove access to your Canva file, click 'Delete embed' to destroy this link. you can regenerate this and reshare at a later stage, if needed.
Step 2 - Connect your Canva file to Programa
Head to the project you'd like to add your Canva file to, click the ➕ button to create a new file, and select 'Canva Embed'
Give your file a 'Presentation Name', and paste in the 'Smart embed link' you've just generated in Step 1, and click 'Add'
Your Canva files now exist as a file in your Project, which you can access from your Project landing page
Step 3 - Share your Canva files to your Client Dashboard
Your Canva files can be published to the Client Dashboard in the same way as Schedules and Pinboards. Start by opening your Canva file from youe Project landing page, as shown in the image above.
Head to the 'Share' menu in the top, right-hand corner of your Canva file in Programa, then toggle on the 'Publish to Client Dashboard'. Enter your client's email address, and click 'Add'
That's it!
You can also use the 'Publish to Web' toggle, if you'd like to share this with your trades, contractors, or other third parties.
Canva FAQs
How do I remove access to a Canva file I've shared?
Simply delete the 'Smart embed link' by opening your file in Canva, selecting 'Share', then the highlights 'Embed' link, and click on 'Delete embed'. This will break the connection with Programa, and remove your client's access.
What's the Canva file size limit?
There isn't one! The embedded link is a live connection to all file sizes and types shared directly from Canva.
What file types can I share from Canva?
All file types that allow you to share a 'Smart embed link' can be connected to Programa.
