The Samsung Internet Browser has become increasingly unreliable for PWA installations, with installs sometimes being incorrectly flagged as unsafe by Google Play Protect or failing silently.
"This app was built for an older version of Android and doesn't include the latest privacy protections."
As a result, on March 9th, 2026, Progressier has been configured to redirect users who initiate an installation from Samsung Internet to continue via Chrome (figure 2 below). We will re-evaluate this routing if Samsung resolves these browser issues.
