Progressier makes it easy to send push notifications at scale, manually or programmatically.

However, you may have noticed that we don't track the open rate of push notifications. There are two reasons for that:

First off, it's not possible to track the open rate of PWA push notifications with any sort of accuracy. In several scenarios, operating systems technically prevent that (particularly on iOS).

More importantly, open rates are a misleading data point for push notifications. Unlike, say marketing emails, a push notification can achieve its purpose without being opened.

A simple example to illustrate: if you order food from Uber Eats or Foodpanda, you may receive a notification when the food is at your door. The open rate of that particular notification is probably extremely low. But it still achieves its purpose by letting you know that your food has arrived.

With marketing emails, you can track the open rate and CTR to measure performance.

With push notifications, it's simply less relevant.
