Access blocked to ProgressionLIVE — Geographic restrictions (Error 403)

Error 403 Forbidden when attempting to connect to ProgressionLIVE

Why is my access blocked?

ProgressionLIVE uses a Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect its services. This system analyzes each request and automatically blocks access from countries that are not on our approved list.

Important: The WAF evaluates the exit point of your Internet traffic, not your physical location. Even if you are physically in an authorized country, your access may be blocked if your connection passes through a non-approved country (e.g., via a proxy or a security node like Zscaler).

Associated error message

Error 403 — This error appears when the WAF blocks your connection due to geographic restrictions. It may appear as soon as the application’s home page.

Solutions

1. Use a VPN

If you are accessing the application from a country that is not on the approved list, or if your internet traffic exits through a non-approved country, connect to a VPN configured to an approved country (Canada, United States, France, etc.), then restart the application.

Some options:

2. Verify Your Network Exit Point

Use an online tool (for example, https://www.whatismyip.com/) to identify the country associated with your public IP address. If that country is not on the approved list, contact your network administrator.

3. Contact Your Network Administrator

If your company uses a proxy or security filtering service (for example, Zscaler), ask your network administrator to configure traffic to ProgressionLIVE so that it exits through an approved country.
