What to Do if Someone Invites You to Apply for a Job Outside of Project Casting

All communication and job activity should take place directly on the Project Casting platform.

Updated this week

Overview

All communication and job activity should take place directly on the Project Casting platform. If a company or individual asks you to apply, communicate, or submit materials outside of Project Casting, it may be a violation of our Terms of Service and could pose a risk to your safety or privacy.

Why This Matters

Project Casting is designed to keep both professionals and companies protected. By keeping all interactions—including job invitations, messages, and submissions—on our platform, we help ensure:

  • Job legitimacy and transparency

  • Privacy and safety of user data

  • Protection from scams or fraudulent activity

  • A verified record of communications and applications

Allowing invitations or job solicitations to happen outside the platform puts professionals at risk of exploitation, misleading offers, and untraceable communication.

What Is Considered a Violation?

The following behaviors are considered violations of our platform policies:

  • A company inviting you via Project Casting but asking you to apply or communicate off-platform

  • Sharing personal contact details to discuss a job before a formal engagement on Project Casting

  • Requesting you to submit materials (e.g. resumes, photos, reels) via third-party channels before applying

  • Soliciting direct payment or applying through other websites, apps, or forms

What to Do

If you receive an invitation that asks you to apply or communicate outside of Project Casting:

  1. Do not respond or share your contact information

  2. Take a screenshot of the message or job listing

  3. Report the user or job post immediately by contacting our support team directly at support@projectcasting.com with details

We’ll review the report promptly and take action to protect your account and the integrity of the platform.

Consequences of Violations

Companies or individuals who attempt to bypass Project Casting’s systems by inviting users off-platform will face strict consequences, including:

  • Immediate removal of the job post

  • Suspension or permanent termination of their account

  • Loss of access to Project Casting’s talent database and hiring tools

Help Us Keep the Platform Safe

Project Casting exists to make the casting and hiring process easier, faster, and safer—for everyone. Help us maintain a secure environment by keeping your interactions within the platform and reporting any suspicious behavior.

If you believe you’ve received an off-platform job invite or communication, email support@projectcasting.com.
