How to Reset Your Password
At Project Casting, we prioritize your security and privacy. To ensure a safe and secure experience, we use Two-Factor Email Authentication instead of traditional passwords. This method not only protects your account but also helps prevent fraud. Here’s how it works:
How Two-Factor Email Authentication Works
1. Login Process:
• When you attempt to log in to your Project Casting account, you’ll be prompted to enter your email address.
• After entering your email, a unique authentication code will be sent directly to your inbox.
2. Accessing Your Account:
• Check your email for the authentication code.
• Enter the code in the provided field on the Project Casting login page.
• Once the correct code is entered, you will be granted access to your account.
What If You Didn’t Receive the Authentication Code?
If you don’t receive the authentication code within a few minutes, try the following steps:
• Check Your Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, email providers may mistakenly filter the authentication code into your spam or junk folder.
• Resend the Code: You can click the “Resend Code” button on the login page to have a new code sent to your email.
• Verify Your Email Address: Ensure that you entered the correct email address when requesting the authentication code.
Why We Don’t Use Passwords
Traditional passwords can be vulnerable to hacking and are often reused across multiple platforms. By using Two-Factor Email Authentication, we enhance your security by ensuring that only you have access to your account through your verified email address. This method reduces the risk of unauthorized access and provides a more secure environment for all our users.
