Overview of Review Generation Methods

There are two approaches you can use to generate reviews through ProLine:

  1. Direct-to-Platform Review URL

This option allows you to send customers directly to a review platform such as Google, Facebook, or Yelp via a custom URL.

  2. ProLine Review Landing Page

Instead of going directly to the platform, customers are sent to a branded ProLine landing page. This page can enhance the customer experience by allowing additional messaging or filtering before they leave a review.

Tip: There’s an in-depth article linked on the review settings page explaining when and why to use the ProLine landing page. Review this guide to determine which option suits your business best.

Where to Configure Your Review URL

The review request URL is managed at the location level, ensuring accurate routing if your business operates multiple locations.

Steps to Set Up the Review URL:

  1. Navigate to the Locations section of your ProLine dashboard.

  2. Select the desired location (Ex: Athens or Atlanta).

  3. Scroll down to the Review Settings section.

    1. Here you’ll find two key fields:

      1. Review Landing Page URL – Use this if you are leveraging ProLine’s internal review page.

      2. Review Request URL – This is the direct link to your preferred review platform.

  4. Paste your review platform URL (Ex: Google, Yelp, Facebook) into the Review Request URL field.

  5. Click Save.

Once saved, this URL will be used for all review requests sent from the selected location.

Final Tips

  • Be sure to test your URLs after saving them to ensure they redirect properly.

  • Revisit the linked article on the Review Settings page for a more strategic overview.

  • Periodically review each location’s settings to ensure consistency and performance.
