To activate notifications in ProLine, select the hamburger menu in the top left corner and go to account settings. Then, scroll to Notification Settings. You’ll see three columns of boxes labeled Push, Browser, and Email.

Checking the boxes in each column activates notification types for specific events.

Note that your ProLine notification settings are specific to your ProLine profile. Editing the notification settings of your personal profile will not change the notification settings of team member profiles in your company.

Here’s a deeper dive on how each notification type work

Push

These are notifications that go straight to your phone via the ProLine app. They’re the most simple and reliable form of notification. We recommend using push notifications over the other two types of notifications whenever possible.

Browser

These are notifications that are sent via the browser on your computer. It’s worth noting that browser notifications aren’t always reliable—a host of factors can stop a browser notification from going through, including browser filters, operating system filters, and various “focus” or “silent” features of your computer.

After selecting browser notifications, hit Save. A pop-up will appear along the top of your browser prompting you to enable notifications. Select Enable.

If you hit Later by mistake, you’ll need to clear the cookies from your browser, restart your browser, and try again.

Email

Send ProLine notifications straight to your email inbox.

DO NOT TURN ON EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT & NEED THEM.

If you subscribe to email notifications, make sure they ARE NOT going to spam. If they are, move them to updates and/or mark notifications@proline.app as a safe sender.

If you allow notifications from ProLine to go to spam, you hurt the experience of other users that may rely on email notifications from ProLine to run their business.

You can stop email notifications at any time using the unsubscribe button at the bottom of each message.
