Who to Add as a Contact

Adding a contact in ProLine involves filling out a digital contact card accessible via the platform's user interface. It's important to differentiate between creating a contact for stakeholders like real estate agents or subcontractors and adding potential customers or leads, which involves a different process through project creation.

Steps to Add a Contact

To begin adding a new contact:

  • Click the Plus Sign (+) on the left menu.

  • Select Contact from the dropdown to open a new contact card on the right side of your screen.

Information to Include for a Contact

When filling out the contact card, enter the following details:

  • Contact's first name and last name, for example, Jenny Doe.

  • Organization, such as Remax.

  • Phone number and email address.

  • Street address.

  • Contact type to reflect the contact’s role or relationship to your company.

  • Tags that help categorize the contact within your system.

  • Notes in the contact card that would be helpful for team members who interact with this contact.

You can skip the Lead Source, Service, and Proposal fields.

Finalizing and Saving the Contact

To complete and save the contact:

  • Review all the information entered to ensure accuracy.

  • Check the communication preferences to confirm that the contact has consented to SMS, phone, and email communications.

  • Click Save to store the contact details in your ProLine account.

Remember, once saved, the contact won't appear in project views or pipelines but can be associated with projects or included in communications as needed. This separation ensures that contact management remains streamlined and specific to non-customer interactions within ProLine.

Troubleshooting and Support

If you encounter difficulties or have further questions, contact our support team through the chat in the lower corner of your screen. We're here to help you with any issues or concerns.
