How to Access Measurement Report Fields

To customize your measurement fields:

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of your ProLine account.

  2. Scroll down and select Company Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Measurements tab.

  4. Click into Measurement Report Fields.

Here, you’ll find a list of default measurement fields already created in your account.

Understanding and Using Measurement Fields

By default, ProLine comes preset with the following fields:

  • Waste Factor (%)

  • Ridges (LF)

  • Hips (LF)

  • Valleys (LF)

  • Rakes (LF)

  • Eaves (LF)

  • Parapet Walls (LF)

  • Flashing (LF)

  • Step Flashing (LF)

  • Total Area (SF)

  • Electrical Masts (#)

  • Vents (#)

  • Chimneys (#)

Although these fields are roofing focused, you can add as many additional measurement fields as needed, such as (siding items, gutters, facets, fascia)

Adding New Fields

If your business works with multi-trade services or simply needs more customization, you can easily add new measurement fields:

  • Click the Add button.

  • Enter the name of the measurement field (“Window Area” or “Fence Length”).

  • Click Create.

Once added, these fields will become available for use in integrations, manual input, or CSV importers.

Soft Deletion & Recovery

Accidentally deleted a measurement field? No problem.

  • Deleted measurement fields are soft deleted—they’re hidden, not permanently removed.

  • Click on Deleted Measurements to view all previously deleted fields.

  • Click Undo next to any field to restore it.

This ensures no permanent loss of important data configurations.

Setting Minimum Values (Optional)

Each measurement field can optionally be given a minimum value.

Why Use a Minimum?

  • It establishes a baseline value that will automatically populate when a measurement report is created.

  • Commonly used for Waste Factor to ensure that every project includes at least a standard buffer, regardless of the source data.

Note: If data comes from an integration or import and provides a higher value than the minimum, that higher value will override the default.

No Minimums by Default

  • ProLine does not enforce any minimum values by default.

  • Setting minimums is completely optional and configurable per field.

Where These Fields Are Used

The fields you create or manage in this section can be mapped or used in several areas across ProLine:

  • CSV Imports

  • Third-party integrations

    • GAF (see how to integrate here!)

    • Eagleview (see how to integrate here!)

    • Hover (see how to integrate here!)

  • Manual entry at the project level

Having the right fields configured ensures seamless data flow and consistency in how measurements are recorded and used throughout your system.
