This article guides you through the process of adding and removing project categories in your account.

Project categories in ProLine help you organize and classify your projects based on different criteria such as type, management style, or any other custom category relevant to your business needs.

Adding Project Categories

To add new project categories to your ProLine account, follow these steps:

  • Click on the hamburger menu in the top corner.

  • Navigate to Company Settings > Projects.

  • Scroll down to the section labeled 'Project Categories'.

  • Here, you can see the default categories, such as Residential and Commercial.

  • To add a new category, click on Add Category.

  • Enter the name of the category you wish to add, such as 'Property Management' or 'Managed Property', and then click Save.

Removing Project Categories

Remember, removing a project category is irreversible and affects all projects previously categorized under it. Here's how to remove a category:

  • Navigate to Company Settings > Projects following the same steps as above.

  • Locate the category you want to remove.

  • Click on the delete icon next to the category name.

  • Confirm the deletion when prompted.
