The "Send Push Notifications" Campaign Step

Learn how to use the "Send Push Notification" action within ProLine's campaign builder to notify users across their devices.

In this article, we cover:

A push notification action in ProLine allows you to send notifications to users' devices. The main purpose is to make sure users receive timely updates and information.

When you send a push notification, the recipient receives it on every device they are logged into with their ProLine account. This ensures they don't miss important messages, regardless of which device they are using.

How to Add a New Step to Your Campaign

  1. Access the Campaign Editor: Navigate to:

    • Hamburger menu > Campaigns > Choose a campaign folder and click on Open Folder > Choose a campaign and click on Edit Campaign.

    • A campaign's stage triggers (gear icon) > View Campaign. Note: this might not be possible if the stage has no triggers or if the stage triggers have no campaigns.

  2. Locate the Plus Button:

    • For a pre-built campaign, scroll to the bottom to find the + button.

    • For a new campaign, the + button will be at the top.

  3. Click the Plus Button: Clicking the + button will add a new step. The new step will default to the "disabled" action.

  4. Select Push Notification: In the dropdown menu, select Send Push Notification.

  5. Configure Notification: Enter the title and body of the notification.

    • Title: Keep it short and clear.

    • Body: Provide the necessary details concisely.

  6. Assign Recipient: Choose whether to send the notification to the contact assignee or another team member.

  7. Save and Activate: Save your changes and activate the campaign.

Additional Information

  • You can choose to send push notifications to the contact assignee or any other team member. By default, the notification is sent to the contact assignee, but you can change this if needed.

  • If necessary, create multiple steps to send different notifications to different recipients.
