In this article, we cover:
ProLine allows you to customize email signatures for all outgoing emails from your automations. Here's how to manage your email signatures effectively.
To start editing your email signature in ProLine, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Email Signature Settings
Open the hamburger menu.
Go to Company Settings > Email.
Click on the Email Signature section.
Using Variables in Your Signature
Utilize variables to ensure your signatures update automatically if your company undergoes rebranding. For example:
Company Name: Keep this as a variable to avoid manual updates during a rebrand.
User First Name and Last Name: Use the variables
{{user_fname}}
and{{user_lname}}
to automatically insert the user's name.User Phone Number: The
{{user_phone_display}}
variable defaults to their ProLine number. If unavailable, it shows the number listed under the forward-to field.
Additional Information in Your Signature
Include other elements like:
Website URL: Direct recipients to your company's website.
Review URL: Encourage recipients to leave reviews with a link in your signature.
Links: You can add direct links within the signature text.
Adding a Logo
To insert a logo:
Click the Upload Logo button.
Select and upload your logo file.
Adjust the size as necessary.
Note: The logo and text will be arranged top-to-bottom due to the lack of custom HTML support.
Handling limitations with HTML
While ProLine doesn't support custom HTML for signatures, you can use the rich text editor to:
Bold text
Italicize text
Create lists
This limitation means you can't paste in an externally built custom HTML signature.
