Learn how to customize default views for individual users, including setting defaults for desktop and mobile views, pipelines, and more.

Accessing User Defaults

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the navigation bar.

  2. Go to Account Settings.

  3. Navigate to the Defaults tab.

Key Concepts

User-Specific Settings

  • The settings configured here only impact your personal user account.

  • They are not enforced organization-wide.

  • Any changes made affect only what you see by default.

Permissions Matter

  • Available options in drop downs depend on your permission level.

  • If you're missing an option, it's likely due to access restrictions.

  • Contact your admin or account owner if you need elevated access.

Default Settings Breakdown

You can pre-set views for:

  • Default Page (Desktop): What is the page within ProLine you want to see first when you login into your account via desktop.

  • Default Page (Mobile): What is the page on your ProLine Mobile app you want to see first when you open your app.

  • Default Board: What Board do you want to see first when you go to Boards.

  • Default Assignee Filter: This is where you can set if you want to see items assigned to only you, a specific user or all users within your ProLine account across all boards.

  • Default Org Type: This is set the specific org you want to open up with when viewing the org board.

  • Default Org Stage: This is where you will set the default stage within the org board you want to see when you open the org board.

  • Default Job Service: This is where you will choose which service on the jobs board you want to be set as the default.

  • Default Project Pipeline: This is where you choose which pipeline you want your account to open up to when you open the projects board.

  • Default Project Stage: Stage you want to see first within the pipeline chosen above.

  • Default Project Service Filter: Applies to the filters in the board. The selected Service will be automatically applied as a filter based on this choice.

  • Default Project Area Filter: Applies to the filters in the board. The selected Area will be automatically applied as a filter based on this choice.

  • Default Project Category Filter: Applies to the filters in the board. The selected Category will be automatically applied as a filter based on this choice.

  • Default Project Type Filter: Applies to the filters in the board. The selected Project Type will be automatically applied as a filter based on this choice.

  • Default Project Tag Filter: Applies to the filters in the board. The selected Tag will be automatically applied as a filter based on this choice.

  • Default Location: If you have multiple locations, which location do you want to show when opening your projects page?

  • Default Report: What report do you want to see first when you click into the dashboard.

  • Default Map Provider: When pulling up an address on your mobile app, which map provider do you want to have it automatically pull up; Google or Apple Maps.
