Company Settings: Working Hours

This guide explains how to set your company's working hours and configure how ProLine handles calls that come in outside of those hours.

Written by Diana Herrera

Overview

Your company working hours in ProLine control when automated workflow messages — texts and emails — are allowed to send. They also determine how incoming calls are handled outside of your designated hours. ProLine defaults to 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, but you can adjust this to match your company's schedule.

Accessing Working Hours

  1. Click the hamburger menu (☰) in the top-left corner.

  2. Select Company Settings.

  3. Click Working Hours from the left sidebar.

Company Working Hours

Once in the Working Hours section, configure the following:

  • Start Working Hours — Enter the hour your working day begins. ProLine defaults to 9 AM.

  • End Working Hours — Enter the hour your working day ends. ProLine defaults to 5 PM.

  • Off on Saturday — Check this box if your company does not operate on Saturdays.

  • Off on Sunday — Check this box if your company does not operate on Sundays.

💡 These hours serve as the foundation for when ProLine's automated workflows are allowed to send texts and emails. You may have the option to override this within specific workflows, but this setting is the company-wide default.

Outside Hours Behavior

This section controls what happens when someone calls your ProLine number outside of your working hours.

Outside Hours Behavior — Check the Do Calls Outside Working Hours box to enable outside hours call handling. When enabled, a Divert Calls To option will appear with two choices:

  • Voicemail — Incoming calls outside working hours will go directly to voicemail. This is a good option if you prefer to return calls the next business day.

  • Different Number — Incoming calls outside working hours will be forwarded to a different phone number. When this option is selected, a Forward Calls To field will appear where you can enter the phone number to receive the forwarded calls. This is commonly used for answering services.

If the Do Calls Outside Working Hours box is left unchecked, no special handling is applied and calls will behave normally outside of working hours.

Saving

Once you have made your changes, click Save. Click Cancel to discard any unsaved changes.
