To manage your projects effectively, creating and sending orders for materials and work is essential. This guide walks you through the steps to create a new order, select relevant quotes, use templates, customize details, and finally send the order within ProLine.
Creating a New Order
Go to the project you want to work with.
Click on the Orders tab within the project.
Click on New Order to start a new order.
Select the Relevant Quote: Choose a signed quote to convert it to an order. You can also select a draft quote or create an order from scratch
Choose a Template: From the list of templates, select the appropriate template (e.g., material order or work order). Templates may vary based on your account setup. Common options include material orders and work orders for different locations.
Create the Order: Select the template and click Create. ProLine will convert the items from the quote to the order based on the selected template.
Customizing Order Details
Review and Edit Items
Review the items pulled from the quote. For multi-structure quotes, ensure each structure’s items are correctly allocated.
Adjust Quantities
Customize quantities or other details as needed before placing the order.
Set Target Date and Time
Choose a delivery date. Options include:
Hold for Later
As Soon As Possible
Specific Date
Add Notes and Attachments
Add any additional notes for the vendor.
Attach images if necessary. ProLine automatically pulls the cover image, usually a photo of the customer's house.
Sending Orders via Text and Email
Prepare to Send
Click Send icon. ProLine generates text and email versions of the order.
Review and Edit Messages
Review the text message and email generated by ProLine. Edit them if necessary.
Select the Vendor
Ensure the correct vendor is selected. You can remove and add a different vendor if needed.
Send the Order
Once everything is verified, click Send to dispatch the order via text message and email.
