Vantage Referral Code MADTRADES – Fix Every Reason The Code Gets Rejected

Vantage Referral Code MADTRADES should unlock a $50 no-deposit bonus and a 50% deposit bonus up to $20,000. Here is why it fails and how to fix each cause.

Vantage Referral Code MADTRADES is meant to unlock a $50 No-Deposit Bonus plus a 50% Deposit Bonus worth up to $20,000 on a new Vantage Markets account, but a code that should work sometimes does not, and the reason is almost always mechanical rather than mysterious. This article works through the specific points where the process breaks down — the field, the timing, the verification stage, the deposit and the credit itself — and what the fix is at each one.

Start by working out which stage failed

A referral code has to pass through several separate gates before bonus credit appears in a live account, and each gate fails in a different way. Diagnosing the stage first saves a lot of wasted effort, because the fix for a code that was never accepted at signup is completely different from the fix for a code that was accepted but has not produced a visible balance yet.

There are four checkpoints in the chain: the code is entered during registration, identity verification is completed, the $50 no-deposit credit is claimed from the client portal, and a deposit is made to trigger the 50% match. Work out which of those four you have actually completed, in order, and the cause of the problem usually becomes obvious.

A quick self-diagnosis sequence

  1. Did the registration form accept MADTRADES without an error message before you submitted it? If not, the failure is at entry.

  2. Is your identity verification complete, with proof of ID and proof of address both approved? Bonuses are not released to unverified accounts.

  3. Have you visited the bonus or promotions area of the client portal and actively claimed the $50 no-deposit credit? It is a claim, not an automatic drop.

  4. If you deposited, have the funds actually cleared? The 50% match is credited automatically once they do, not at the moment you press send.

Cause 1: the code was entered after the account was opened

This is the most common and the least recoverable failure. MADTRADES has to go into the referral, promo or partner code field during signup, on the same form that creates the live account. If you skipped it there and went looking for somewhere to add it afterwards, applying it later is often not possible, and retroactive application is usually refused.

The fix is prevention: before you start the registration form, decide that you are using the code, and do not submit the form until you have found the field and filled it. If the field is collapsed behind a link labelled something like "have a referral code?", expand it. Read the confirmation screen after submission and check whether the code is echoed back to you anywhere. If you have already registered without it, contact Vantage support and ask directly rather than assuming — but plan for the answer to be no, and do not open a second account as a workaround without checking whether that is permitted.

Cause 2: the code went into the wrong box

Registration forms often carry more than one optional field, and codes get typed into whichever one the reader notices first. A referral code dropped into a marketing-source box, a coupon field on an unrelated page, or a free-text "how did you hear about us" question will not register as a promotional code even though the form accepts the characters happily.

Look specifically for a field named for referrals, promotions or partners. If a form offers several and you are unsure, the safest approach is to enter the code in the field explicitly labelled for codes and leave descriptive fields alone. Copy and paste rather than retype, then check the pasted result: trailing spaces, an autocorrected lower-case first letter, or a stray character picked up from a webpage selection are all enough to make a valid code look invalid.

Cause 3: verification is incomplete or stalled

The $50 no-deposit portion is credited after registration and after verification is complete. If the code was accepted at signup but nothing has appeared, unfinished verification is the likeliest reason. Vantage requires proof of ID and proof of address, and an account sitting in a pending state behaves, for bonus purposes, like an unverified one.

  • Check the client portal for a verification status indicator rather than assuming the documents you uploaded were accepted.

  • Make sure the name and address on your documents match what you typed during registration; mismatches are a standard rejection reason for any account opening.

  • Re-upload documents that were rejected for legibility rather than waiting, and use a full-page image rather than a crop.

  • Wait for the approved status before you expect any bonus credit to appear.

Cause 4: the no-deposit credit was never claimed

Some readers assume the $50 lands by itself. It does not. The no-deposit credit is claimed from the bonus or promotions area of the client portal, which means a verified account with no visible $50 is not necessarily a broken account — it may simply be an unclaimed offer. Log in, find the bonus or promotions section, and look for the claim action there before concluding that the code failed.

Cause 5: the deposit match has not been triggered yet

The 50% deposit bonus is credited automatically once funds clear. Two things follow. First, the timing depends on clearing, so a bonus that is absent immediately after you send money is not evidence of a problem. Second, the match is calculated on what you actually fund. On a $2,000 deposit the credit is an additional $1,000 of bonus margin, and reaching the full $20,000 ceiling requires a $40,000 deposit — so a smaller credit than you hoped for is arithmetic, not a fault. If you funded and expected the headline figure, check your deposit against the 50% rate before raising a ticket.

Account minimums matter here too. Standard STP starts at around $50, Standard Cent from about $20, Raw ECN from around $50 and Pro ECN at $10,000 entry. A deposit below the minimum for the account type you selected creates a funding problem first and a bonus problem second.

Cause 6: regional and entity differences

Vantage Markets operates under several regulatory licences, including ASIC in Australia, the FCA in the UK, the FSCA in South Africa and the VFSC in Vanuatu, and the entity you are onboarded to depends on your country of residence. Because regulatory protection and rules vary significantly by entity and country, the terms attached to your account are the terms of the entity that onboarded you. If a promotion behaves differently from what you read elsewhere, your entity is the first thing to check, and the official site for your region is the authority on what applies.

Cause 7: the bonus works, but not the way you expected

A large share of reported "failures" are misunderstandings about what bonus credit is. Bonus credit of this kind is normally tradeable rather than immediately withdrawable. You trade with it, and profits become withdrawable once volume conditions are met. The deposit match likewise increases usable margin rather than being cash you can withdraw on demand.

So a balance that will not withdraw is usually behaving as designed. Before deciding anything has gone wrong, read the conditions: the trading volume required to convert bonus credit into withdrawable funds, whether the bonus is removed when you withdraw your own deposit, whether it counts toward margin during a drawdown, and how long you have to meet the conditions. The volume requirement is the number that decides the value of the whole thing — a large notional bonus tied to a target you would never realistically trade is worth less than a smaller one you can actually convert.

What to have ready before contacting support

If you have worked through the stages above and the problem is genuinely on the broker's side, a well-prepared enquiry resolves faster than a vague one.

  • The exact code you entered and the field you entered it in.

  • The date you registered and whether the form showed any error at the time.

  • Your verification status and the date your documents were approved.

  • Whether you claimed the no-deposit credit in the portal, and what the portal displayed when you did.

  • Your deposit amount and date, and the bonus amount you expected at the 50% rate.

  • Screenshots of the bonus area of the client portal showing the current balance.

Reducing the chance of a rejection next time

Almost every avoidable failure comes down to sequence. Enter the code on the registration form, finish verification before you expect anything, claim the no-deposit credit rather than waiting for it, then fund and let the deposit clear. Confirm the bonus balance is visible in your account before you place a trade against it, so you are not relying on credit you do not actually have.

The wider point is that a code is a small part of the decision. Vantage offers a five-platform lineup — MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradingView integration, a browser-based web trader and a mobile app — across forex, indices, commodities, shares and cryptocurrencies, with competitive pricing on the ECN account types. Those are the reasons to choose a broker. Regulation, spreads and withdrawal reliability matter far more over time than a one-off credit, and the code is worth using because you have already decided the broker suits you.

Trading carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Evaluation fees are generally non-refundable unless the provider's terms state otherwise. Nothing here is financial advice.

Promotional terms, eligibility and values are set by the provider and can change at any time. Always confirm the current terms on the official site before signing up or completing a purchase.
