How to schedule a display (start/end date settings)

How to schedule a Promolayer display's active period using Start/End dates and Display Schedule for time-of-day control.

By setting the display period and display schedule, you can automatically control when your display appears.

Steps

Setting the Display Period (Start/End Date and Time)

  1. Open the Display Editor and go to the Rules tab.

  2. Turn ON the Display Start/End toggle, then enter the start and end date/time. The display will automatically turn on and off at the specified times. If you leave the toggle OFF, the display will remain active at all times.

Setting the Display Schedule (Days of the Week / Time of Day)

  1. Open the Display Editor and go to the Rules tab.

  2. Turn ON the Display Schedule toggle, then set the days of the week and time range you'd like the display to appear. If you leave the toggle OFF, the display will remain active 24 hours a day, every day.

  3. You can also combine both settings. Use the Display Period to define the overall duration of your campaign, and use the Display Schedule to specify which days and hours within that period the display should appear (e.g., only during weekday business hours).
