How to schedule a display (start/end date settings)

Learn how to schedule a Promolayer display using Display Start/End date settings and Display Schedule to control active periods and time-of-day visibility.

You can control when a display is shown by configuring the Display Start/End and Display Schedule settings in the Rules tab of the display editor.

Steps

  1. Open the display editor and go to the Rules tab.

  2. To set an active date range, enable the Display Start/End switch and enter your start and end times. The display will automatically turn on and off at those times.

  3. To restrict display to certain times of day or days of the week, enable the Display Schedule switch and configure the desired hours and days. If the switch is off, the display runs 24 hours a day, every day.

  4. To combine both settings, enable both switches. Use Display Start/End to define the overall event period, and Display Schedule to control which hours or days within that period the display appears — for example, weekday business hours only.

These settings enable or disable the display automatically, but they do not switch between Live Mode and Draft Mode. Make sure the display is already in Live Mode before the scheduled start time, or it will not appear.
