Troubleshooting Issues Connecting Your Business Facebook Account

What to do when your Business Facebook account isn't connecting

If you're having problems connecting your Facebook Business Page to PropertySimple, you've come to the right place! Follow these steps to solve many common connection issues.

Step 1: Disconnect your Facebook page in your content tab.

Your screen should look like this:

Step 2: Disconnect the PropertySimple Business Integration from your Facebook Account.

Go to your personal Facebook profile and click on the picture in the upper right corner.

Click Settings and Privacy.

Then click Settings.

Click Business Integrations from the left menu.

Find PropertySimple Inc and click "Remove"

Step 3: Reconnect your Facebook Business Page to PropertySimple

Go back to your Content tab in your PropertySimple Account and click on "Connect Page" next to the Facebook Icon.

Log in to Facebook with your Personal account, click on "Edit Access" and make sure all the permissions are set to on.

After you click "Edit access" make sure all the permissions are toggled to "on" (It's easiest to provide access to all pages if you have more than one, you'll specify which one you want to connect in a later screen.)

Then proceed to connect to PropertySimple, click "Continue as..."

Confirm the Business Account you want to connect - click the correct Business Account from the modal.

And you're all set!

If you're still receiving an error after following these steps, please wait a few hours and try to connect again. We've found that Facebook occasionally experiences issues but they are usually resolved pretty quickly.
