⚠️ Not currently creating or editing a custom template?
Start with the Getting Started with Custom Templates article to learn the basics.
The Styling panel controls the visual presentation of your generated document. This is where you define exactly how the final output will look, ensuring it matches your firm’s brand, maintains a professional tone, and meets any required formatting standards.
📍 Where to find the Styling Section
Open the Navigation Bar.
Click on the Main Navigation sub menu.
Select Templates.
Open your desigered template and select Styling from the Template Sections panel.
The panel is divided into three main sections, each giving you control over a different part of your document’s appearance:
1. Typography
Set the default text styling for your document’s body content, including:
Font Family – Choose from available fonts to match your brand’s style.
Font Size – Set the size for your body text.
Paragraph Spacing – Control spacing between paragraphs.
Line Spacing – Adjust space between lines for improved readability.
These settings apply to your main document text unless otherwise specified in individual sections.
2. Section Titles
Make your headings stand out and improve readability by customizing:
Text Formatting – Bold, italic, underline.
Text Color – Select a color that fits your brand.
Alignment – Left, center, or right aligned.
Title Font Size – Set how large section titles appear.
Spacing After Title – Adjust the gap before body text begins.
3. Document Margins
Set the top, bottom, left, and right margins of your document to control how text sits on the page. This is especially useful for legal formatting requirements or when preparing files for printing.
This concludes the guide on how to create your first template! 🎉
