How to Navigate the Licensing Pipeline:
The Licensing Pipeline section provides a comprehensive overview of licenses in the district, including breakdowns by tier and type. Follow these steps to effectively navigate the Licensing Pipeline:
1. Access the License tab and log in as a school admin.
2. On the Network Portal page, locate and click on the Licensing Pipeline section.
3. Use the left-hand side menu to view the breakdown of licenses by tier and type.
4. Analyze the color chart to identify strengths in your district's licenses.
5. To track teachers applying for new licenses, access the Applying section.
6. Click on a specific license type to view the teachers applying for it and their progress.
How to Manage Relicensure Committees:
Managing renewals is a crucial aspect of the licensing process. Follow these steps to effectively manage renewals within the License tab:
1. Open the Renewal tab within the License tab.
2. In the Renewals table, you'll find upcoming renewals listed along with their expiration dates, progress, and license types.
3. Use the Relicensure Committees table to manage committees responsible for approving renewals.
4. To add a member to a committee, hover over their school and click the plus sign.
5. Search for the person you want to add, select them, and click "Save" to complete the process.
How to Record CEUs and Hours:
Recording Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and professional development hours is a crucial part of the licensing process. Here's how teachers can record their CEUs and hours within the License tab:
1. Direct the teacher to access the License tab and navigate to their Teacher View section.
2. In the Teacher View, the teacher will find the Current Renewal Hours graph displaying their remaining hours.
3. Beneath the graph, they will see the State Requirement Criteria section, providing insight into their progress towards meeting the renewal requirements.
4. To record hours, the teacher can click the "Add Existing License" button.
5. Select the courses or observations completed within Proserva to automatically track hours.
6. To upload additional evidence, click the "Add New File" button and select the relevant file.
7. Provide a title, number of hours, and other necessary details for the evidence.
8. Select the appropriate category that aligns with the recorded hours.
9. Click "Add" to save the recorded hours and evidence.
