Proserva allows for PELSB to assign reviewers to a candidate to review their portfolio. Once assigned, the portfolio goes through two different reviews, initial and final review.

Initial Review

Multiple reviewers are able to go through each standard and approve or reject it. During the initial review, PELSB users will see a summary of how the reviewers rated each standard.

  1. Indicates that the current portfolio is in "Initial Review".

  2. Shows how many standards have been approved (thumbs up) or rejected (thumbs down)

  3. Shows how many standards have no vote.

  4. To begin the "Final Review" click this blue button.

Reviewers Possible Approval Statuses

  1. Voted to Approve - You as the reviewer have rejected this standard

  2. Voted to Reject - You as the reviewer have approved this standard

Only the reviewer can see their Approval Status. Other reviewers do not see their reviewer counterpart's approval status at this stage.

PELSB Admin Possible Approval Status

PELSB admins that are not assigned as a Reviewer will see what the reviewers have set as their approval status.

  1. Rejected Votes Only - One or more reviewer has set the Approval Status to Reject. No reviewer has set the Approval Status to Approve.

  2. Approved Votes Only - One or more reviewer has set the Approval Status to Approve. No reviewer has set the Approval Status to Reject.

  3. Conflicting Votes - Reviewers have given at least one Approve and Reject Approval Statuses.

Final Review

This review is designed for the committee of reviewers to go through and approve or reject each standard. There is a summary to help the reviewing team to know the standards they agree on and the standards that need more discussion.

  1. Indicates that the current portfolio is in "Final Review".

  2. Move the portfolio from final review to initial review.

  3. Reject or Approve the portfolio.

  4. Look at the standards that reviewers agreed on.

  5. Focus on the standards have disputed Approval Statuses.

Each standard will have one of the following ratings based on the initial review:

  1. Rejected Votes Only - One or more reviewer has set the Approval Status to Reject. No reviewer has set the Approval Status to Approve. If this review is completed the applicant will see "Rejected" for this standard. No input is required for the Final Review unless the Approval Status should be Approved.

  2. Approved Votes Only - One or more reviewer has set the Approval Status to Approve. No reviewer has set the Approval Status to Reject. If this review is completed the applicant will see "Approved" for this standard. No input is required for the Final Review unless the Approval Status should be Rejected.

  3. Conflicting Votes - Reviewers have given at least one Approve and Reject Approval Statuses.

Each standard can be changed during final review. Click on the standard. There you will see:

  1. The buttons to "Reject" or "Approve" the standard.

  2. A break down of the reviewer's voting.

Once the Portfolio Review is complete the portfolio can be Rejected or Approved. Once that is done, Proserva will inform the candidate of the results.
