SUMMARY:

It is possible to scrape all the members of a specific group on LinkedIn, assign them to your campaign, and send messages without sending a connection request.

Note: you have to be either the owner or a member of a Group you want to use.

  1. Go to Campaigns in Prospect Labs

  2. Click Add Campaign

  3. Select campaign type - Group campaign, click Create campaign

  4. Name to the new campaign, select the Group that you own OR are part of on LinkedIn from the given drop-down list, click Next

  5. You can select your company template (if you have any) or Create without a template

  6. In Steps section, add your initial message and follow-up sequence and click Apply to save changes

  7. To add people into Group campaign, create a Group Search.

  8. Once the search is complete click on the eye icon to view leads and select to Assign chosen leads or Assign all to your Group Campaign

  9. In the pop-up screen, select your draft Group campaign and click Add filtered contacts to campaign

  10. Set the campaign daily sending limits and activate the campaign in campaign Settings

Note: In order to add leads to the Group campaign, they must be members of the group for which the campaign was created (as in step 4).


IN DETAIL:

Group campaign is a great way to extend your outreach without connecting to leads first. Group campaign allows you to message 2nd and 3rd-degree network who are in your or in the same LinkedIn Group as you.

To create a Group campaign:

  1. Go to Campaigns in Prospect Labs

  2. Click Add Campaign:

  3. Select campaign type - Group campaign, click Create campaign:

  4. Give the name to the new campaign and select the Group that you own OR are part of on LinkedIn from the given drop-down list, click Next:

  5. You can select your company template (if you have any) or Create without a template:

  6. In the draft campaign Steps section, add your initial message and follow-up sequence and click Apply to save changes:

  7. To add people into Group campaign, create a Group Search. More about how to import a Group search is here.

    Note: in order to add leads to the Group campaign, they must be members of the group for which the campaign was created (as in step 4).

  8. Once the search is complete, click on the eye icon to view leads and select to Assign chosen leads or Assign all to your Group Campaign:

  9. In the pop-up screen, select your draft Group campaign and click Add filtered contacts to campaign:

    Note: Here you can also select a specific starting date for your campaign or leave it switched on to automatically set start time once the campaign is activated.

  10. You can now set the campaign daily sending limits and activate the campaign in campaign Settings:
