How is a small claims proceeding handled by the PAC?

A small claims proceeding in the PAC is governed by the PAC Rules of the Special Divisions and Small Claims (other than Special Divisions). To qualify for application of these rules as a "small claim," the claim must be no greater than $10,000.00 USD in monetary value. The proceeding is initiated by giving written Notice of Arbitration to the Administrator and simultaneously to the party against whom a claim is being made (Respondent). The arbitration shall be deemed to commence on the date on which the Administrator receives the Notice of Arbitration. The details required in the Notice of Arbitration and the specific steps followed by tthe Prospera Arbitration Center in handling the proceeding can be found at https://pac.hn/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Small-Claims-and-Special-Division-Rules-Final.pdf
