Two-step verification (also known as two-factor authentication or 2FA) is an additional layer of security used to ensure that people trying to gain access to an online account are who they say they are. It adds an extra step to the typical username and password login process by requiring users to provide two different authentication factors, typically something they know (password) and something they have (a temporary code or physical device).

Some common 2-Step Verification applications we use:

  1. Google Authenticator — IOS | Android

  2. Microsoft Authenticator — IOS | Android

Common issues with 2-Step Verification

You can request a 2-Step Verification reset if you are experiencing the following issues:

  • You've got a new phone and were not able to transfer the authenticator app.

  • Your phone was lost or stolen.

Reach out to our support team via the chat box on the ePróspera website or send an email to support@prospera.hn. This process can take up to 24-48 hours. In some cases, the support team may need to verify your identity for security purposes. Be prepared to provide the necessary information to confirm your account ownership.

You may be asked:

  • To send the request via the email you used to register your ePróspera account, include your full name in the request;

  • If you do not have access to this email, provide a photo/scanned copy of your valid ID.
