As we continue to develop Próspera into a leading hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, ensuring the safety and integrity of our community is paramount. One of the essential steps in achieving this is implementing robust access control measures, which include the requirement for all residents to scan their Residency ID at every access point when entering Próspera. A new system is being deployed to make this process fast and seamless.

Why Access Control Matters

Access control is more than just a security measure; it’s a fundamental component of creating a safe, harmonious, and thriving community within Próspera. Here’s why it’s crucial:

  1. Security and Safety: By controlling who enters and exits Próspera, we can better protect our residents, visitors, and assets. This reduces the risk of unauthorized access, potential threats, and ensures that everyone within Próspera is accounted for.

  2. Compliance and Accountability: Próspera operates under a unique set of rules and agreements designed to maximize freedom and accountability. Enforcing access control helps ensure that everyone within the city has agreed to these terms, promoting a culture of mutual respect and responsibility.

  3. Operational Efficiency: Effective access control allows us to manage the flow of people efficiently, ensuring that services and facilities are available to those who need them without unnecessary delays or congestion.

How the Access Control System Works

Starting in August 2024, residents & visitors will be required to scan their Residency ID or Visitor Pass at every access point when entering the Próspera ZEDE. This system is designed to be simple and efficient while ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter the premises.

Here’s how you can access your Residency ID:

  1. Log in to eProspera: Visit eProspera and log in to your account on your mobile device.

  2. Download Your Residency ID: Once logged in, click on ‘Download’ under your residency ID in the dashboard.

  3. Add to Your Wallet: Save your Residency ID to your Apple or Google Wallet for easy access whenever you need it.

Note: Google wallet does not support Honduras App Store users. If you are unable to download your residency ID, you can use a screenshot of your residency ID while we an alternate solution is built.

When you arrive at an access point, simply scan your Residency ID using your smartphone. The system will instantly verify your identity and confirm that you have an active residency or visitor pass before granting you entry.

If you need an alternate form of ID besides a smart phone, please contact us using the chat bubble for alternatives.
