Yes! Proton automatically uploads full length versions of your tracks to YouTube, but they are not uploaded to your channel or any specific channel.

Instead, they're uploaded to YouTube Music, Google's official music service & competitor to Spotify. This means your music is available for streaming on YouTube Music for free (ad supported) or paid plays (subscriber supported.)

These full length videos generate revenue for the label and artists just like other videos on YouTube.  Here's an example of an automatically generated video on YouTube.

The visual element of this video is automatically generated by YouTube itself - they don't give us the ability to customize the video, unfortunately.

What about my own official videos?

Don't worry: you can still upload your official videos to your own channel, and if your own videos or premieres get more plays, they will be the ones first returned in search results.

Can I disable these automatic videos?

If you want, we can disable your release or label from generating revenue on YouTube, but we don't recommend it. You cannot disable these automatic videos without completely disabling monetization on YouTube.
