Beatport unfortunately does not allow distributors or labels to control the *order* that artist names appear on their store, sadly.
Here's how it works: artist names are displayed by seniority: the artist that's been on Beatport the longest will be displayed first in the list of names. We hope Beatport upgrades their system in the future!
At Proton we calculate the seniority of the artist names on Beatport automatically, and display the artist names in that order on our site. So the way you see them listed on Proton is how they'd appear on Beatport.
What about on other platforms like Spotify and Apple Music?
You CAN control the order of the artist names on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. To do this, click the "Artist & Royalties" tab on a track, open the menu next to the artist name, and select "Configure Order of Artist Names".
This should work on all platforms except the DJ stores:
