Every music label on Beatport has their own label page, which includes a "Top 10 Chart" of best-selling tracks plus a "Popular Releases" section, too.
However, these sections are calculated in different ways. Just because you have a release appearing in "Popular Releases" doesn't mean a track from that release will appear in the label's "Top 10 Chart".
And vice versa: a track in the label's "Top 10 Chart" doesn't automatically mean the release that track is from will automatically appear in "Popular Releases".
How does it work?
POPULAR RELEASES - This section features releases that have sold the most copies of an entire release. Only full album buys are counted for this section. If you have a 10 track album, but people only buy copies of 1 track, that does NOT count towards the "Popular Releases" section.
TOP 10 TRACKS - This section features tracks that have sold the most copies, from individual track buys. This section does NOT count full release buys. If hundreds of people buy your 10 track album, the 10 tracks will NOT appear in this chart. Only individual track buys are counted.
We know that's confusing and unexpected, but that's how Beatport built their system!
