How do I set up a Spotify profile or account for my music label?

Unlike DJ shops like Beatport, Spotify does NOT have automatic support for music label profiles. At Spotify, there are 2 types of public profile pages: Users and Artists. There are no label profiles on Spotify yet, but we know they're hoping to add them in the future.

If you want your music label to have a public presence on Spotify, then you need to create a separate user account on Spotify, separate from your own individual account that you might have for your own listening. The new user account you register can have the name of your music label, then you can create playlists for your label on Spotify. For an example, see Anjunadeep's user profile here.

However: Spotify does offer special "back office" access for music labels, which helps you view daily reporting, pitch Spotify's curators, and more. You can read about that in our separate help article here.

You can also check our help article here about setting your music label's username on Spotify to look more professional.

Is there a way to browse my music label's catalog on Spotify, all in one place?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to browse a music label's catalog on Spotify. That's why many music labels setup a user account for their music label, and then create a playlist featuring all of their own releases.
