Spotify has stopped accepting new Clips uploads. You can no longer create or upload a Clip in Spotify for Artists. Any Clips you uploaded before still work and remain on your artist profile in the Video tab.
What happens to my existing Clips?
Nothing: they stay live. Previously uploaded Clips continue to appear in the Video tab on your artist profile, just as before.
What can I use instead?
Spotify now offers a few other video options:
Full-length videos: Eligible artists can upload full-length videos, including official music videos, live performances, and studio sessions. These are royalty-bearing and chart-eligible. Access is rolling out gradually.
Countdown videos: Clips used on eligible Countdown Pages are now called countdown videos. You can still use these to build excitement for an upcoming release.
Canvas: The short, looping visual (3–8 seconds, no separate audio) that plays while your song is playing is still available to all artists.
