Step-by-step proxy setup in Safari on macOS
Click the Safari icon on the top panel of your desktop. From the dropdown menu, select “Settings”.
In the window that appears, select the “Advanced” tab, then click “Change Settings” in the “Proxies” section.
In the left menu, select “Proxies” and toggle on “Secure web proxy (HTTPS)”.
In the new menu, enter the IP address and port. If using a private proxy with authentication, toggle the switch below and enter your username and password. Once the data is entered, click “OK”.
The proxy setup in Safari is complete. If you need to change to another proxy, return to the authorization data entry window and enter a different proxy. To disable the proxy, switch the “Secure web proxy (HTTPS)” toggle to inactive position.
