Filters will help readers find your posts easily and quickly.

👉For example, if you have academic publications, you can configure filters such as "Elementary", "Secondary", "Higher level", etc.

one . Go to Control Panel > Settings > Store > Filters

2. Modify the name and order of the filters .

  • To edit the name: click the icon

and type the title you want to display.

  • To modify the order: drag and move the filter to the position you want, by clicking on the icon

The filters that are displayed there come from the taxonomies that you have created. If you haven't created taxonomies yet, you'll see the platform's default filters.

⚠️ IMPORTANT

In March 2021 we released an update with significant improvements to the menu, including the ability to create custom search filters, add external URLs, and allowing the user experience when searching for content to be more fluid.

If you created your store before this date, you can ask us to activate this update. Note that you will need to create the filters again. Here we share our help article for more information.

For stores created from March 2021 onwards, this documentation will not be useful as this tool is not current.

We hope this tutorial has been easy for you. If you have questions, write to us at support@publica.la .
