PublicSquare is utilizing Stripe for our initial launch to e-commerce but will be moving to a values-aligned payment processor very soon. Thank you for your patience as we continue to grow!

What you’ll need:

  • Admin access to your commerce site

  • EIN

  • Details of the person with management control of the business, ex. CFO

  • Business bank account information

  • The last four digits of your SSN

Step 1: Log on to Violet using this Merchant login link

Step 2: Tap on Settings in the Violet User Section

Step 3: Tap on Payouts on the left, then tap "Go to Stripe"

Step 4: Choose an email used for the business and input a phone number

Step 5: Enter the verification code that was sent to you

Step 6: Enter your Type of Business and Business Structure, then hit Continue

Step 7: Enter your legal business name, EIN, and registered business address, then hit Continue

Step 8: Verify you represent your business. This step will ask you for the last four digits of your SSN. Then click Continue

Step 9: Add the business owners' information and any individuals who own 25% or more of your company, then click Continue

Step 10: Select an account for payouts, input the banking information, then hit Continue

Step 11: Verify all the information you’ve inputted is correct, then hit Agree & Submit

Setting Commission Rate

Step 1: Log on to Violet using this Merchant login link

Step 2: Scroll down to the Channels section of the overview page

Step 3: Hover over the rate to reveal the edit button

Step 4: Click on the edit button, enter “Channel Commission Change,” then click Confirm

Step 5: Enter the 15% commission rate, then click Confirm

Where will I manage orders?

Your orders will still be managed through your e-commerce platform.

How do I receive payment?

You will be paid through Stripe for purchases made on PublicSquare. In the event of a refund, all fees will be returned to you.

Why the 12% commission rate?

This rate allows us to cover all the payment and integration fees. It is also significantly lower than the commission rate of the leading e-commerce platforms and will help us continue to grow America's Marketplace.
