How do I give my book the best chance of being seen?

We know it can be frustrating waiting for a reader to select your book to read and review. Below is some information about how our Library algorithm works, to help you make the best use of your subscription.

Our algorithm is designed to reward use of the Pub Nook system. Various actions connected to your account result in your book (or one of your books, if you have several) being boosted in the Library's search results. Actions that push your book higher in the results include creating a new review request, and having a review you've submitted on another author's book verified by our team. When our team verifies that a review that you've submitted is live, our system picks whichever one of your books is the lowest in the Library search results, and boosts it.

While this is not always the case, some readers may be more likely to select books for which they will receive more tokens. You can increase the number of tokens being offered for your book by selecting a shorter review timeframe (for example, 2-day reviews are worth more tokens than 4-day reviews, and 4-day reviews are worth more tokens than 6-day reviews). Also factored into the token calculation is the number of review requests waiting to be claimed, so you may increase the chances of a book being chosen for review by increasing the number of review requests for that book.

Our algorithm also takes into account the amount of time since a reader has picked your book for review. The longer your book goes without being reviewed, the more tokens our system will offer readers to review it.
