Pulpo offers two ways to view odometer history:

Consolidated View – For an overview of all vehicles.
Individual Vehicle View – For analyzing details of a specific vehicle.

Below, we explain how to access both views.

1. Checking Odometer History – Consolidated View

To review the odometer history of all vehicles in one place:

1️⃣ Go to the main menu and select Reports.
2️⃣ Inside the Reports section, click on Fleet Reports.
3️⃣ Access the Odometer History Report.

Information Available in the Report:

Odometer – Recorded mileage/accumulated reading.
License Plate – ID of the associated vehicle.
Date – When the odometer reading was registered.
Data Entry Method – Indicates how the data was recorded:

🔹 WEB – Manually entered by a user or via importer.
🔹 Provider Name – Synced from a connected device (e.g., GPS).

Odometer Sequence Rule:

✔ The system only registers odometer values that follow a logical and increasing sequence.
✔ If a value out of sequence is received (e.g., lower than the previous one), it will not be saved, ensuring data consistency.

🔹 This consolidated view is ideal for getting a broad overview of your fleet's status and progress.

2. Checking Odometer History – Individual Vehicle View

If you need to focus on a specific vehicle:

1️⃣ Go to the Vehicles module and select the desired vehicle.
2️⃣ In the individual vehicle view, navigate to:

Dashboard – Shows the latest data, including odometer readings.
Activity – Provides a detailed, chronological record of the vehicle’s odometer history.

Advantages of this View:

✅ Allows you to analyze odometer data in the context of a specific vehicle.
✅ Useful for identifying patterns or irregularities in the recorded data.

3. Troubleshooting Common Issues

No Records Showing in the Report?
✔ Check if the vehicle has recent synchronized data.
✔ Ensure the data entry method is correctly configured (manual or automatic).

Odometer Data Looks Inconsistent?
✔ Verify for duplicate entries or incorrect values.
✔ Confirm that the GPS or connected device is working properly.

Why Isn’t an Odometer Value Being Recorded?
✔ The system does not register out-of-sequence values. Ensure that the new odometer reading is higher than the last one.

Conclusion

Whether you need a broad overview of your fleet or detailed analysis of a specific vehicle, Pulpo offers flexible and complete tools to check odometer history.

🚀 Use the consolidated view for a wide analysis of your fleet, or the individual view for in-depth tracking per vehicle.
