In this article, we explain how to efficiently edit objects such as vehicles, drivers, payment methods, and suppliers.

You can perform these edits individually or in bulk, depending on your needs.


Methods to Edit Objects in Pulpo

Pulpo offers several ways to edit objects on the platform. Below, we explain each method:

1. Editing Objects via Table View

This method is ideal for making quick edits to a single object.

Access the Corresponding Module:
🔹 Log in to your Pulpo account.
🔹 On the left sidebar, select Fleet.

Select the Object Category:
🔹 Choose the type of object you want to edit:
✅ Vehicles
✅ Drivers
✅ Payment Methods
✅ Suppliers

Mark the Object to Be Edited:
🔹 In the table view, use the checkbox next to the object you want to edit.

Select "Edit":
🔹 Once selected, a menu will appear in the top right corner of the screen.
🔹 Click the Edit option.

Make the Changes:
🔹 A form will appear on the right side of the screen with the object’s information.
🔹 Edit the necessary fields and add any additional information.

Save the Changes:
🔹 Click the Update button to confirm the changes.
🔹 Done! The information has been updated.

2. Editing Objects via Individual/Detail View

If you need to make more detailed edits to a single object, follow these steps:

Access the Corresponding Module:
🔹 Go to Fleet and select the category of the object you want to edit.

Open the Individual View:
🔹 Click on the object to access its detailed view.

Select the Edit Button:
🔹 In the top right corner of the screen, click the pencil icon to enable editing.

Make the Changes:
🔹 Edit the necessary fields directly in the form.

Save the Changes:
🔹 When finished, click Update to confirm the changes.

3. Editing Objects in Bulk via Table View

If you need to edit multiple objects at the same time, this option is ideal.

Access the Corresponding Module:
🔹 Go to the Fleet module on the left sidebar.

Select the Objects to Be Edited:
🔹 In the table view, check the boxes next to the objects you want to edit.

Select "Edit Multiple":
🔹 Once the objects are selected, a menu will appear in the top right corner.
🔹 Click the Edit Multiple option.

Make the Changes:
🔹 A pop-up window will appear with the bulk edit options.
🔹 Make the necessary adjustments to all selected objects.

Save the Changes:
🔹 Click the Save button to apply the changes.
🔹 Done! The data has been successfully updated.


Helpful Tips

Individual Edit: Use for making specific and detailed adjustments to a single object.
Bulk Edit: Ideal for saving time when making similar changes to multiple objects.
Review Before Saving: Always review the information before confirming the changes to avoid mistakes.
