Payment Methods Module Guide

Welcome to Pulpo’s Help Center! In this article, we explain how to use the Payment Methods module to centralize and manage all information related to your fleet's payment methods, including external payment sources or integrations like PulpoPay.


Accessing the Payment Methods Module

To get started, go to the left-side panel and select Fleet > Payment Methods. This module consists of two main screens, each designed to provide specific functionalities.


Screen 1: General Payment Methods Overview

This screen provides a summary table of all registered payment methods. Here, you can:

View and manage both external payment methods and those provided by PulpoPay.
Customize columns to display the data you need.
Apply filters to search for and segment specific payment methods.
Export data in Excel or CSV format.


Screen 2: Individual Payment Method View

When selecting a payment method, you will access its individual view, which is divided into three main sections:

1. Detailed Information (Left Panel)

✔ View key details such as account number, card type, or associated conditions.
✔ Register unique events, such as specific reminders for key dates.

2. Payment Method Operations (Central Section)

  • Dashboard: View Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including:
    Expense history linked to the payment method.
    Expense segmentation by category or period.

  • Activity Log: Review a detailed audit of all recorded transactions, including:
    ✔ Information on who registered each event (user or integration).
    Recorded date and effective transaction date.
    Editing options in case of errors.

  • Alerts: Receive custom notifications based on payment method settings, such as spending limits or expiration dates.

3. Operational Management (Right Panel)

Assignments: Manage the assignment of payment methods to vehicles, drivers, or specific expenses.
Documents: Store and organize relevant documents associated with each payment method, such as contracts or receipts.
