Welcome to the Fuel section in Pulpo, where you can monitor and manage your fleet’s fuel loads efficiently. This module provides advanced tools to record, analyze, and optimize fuel consumption, ensuring better performance and cost control.

Accessing the Fuel Module

To begin, go to the left-side panel and select:

📌 Operations > Fuel

Fuel Module Features

The "Fuel" tab provides a detailed view of each fuel load recorded, whether entered manually, through integrations, or via data uploads.

In this section, you can view key information such as:

Date and time of refueling
Type of fuel used
Price per liter
Liters filled
Total cost of the fuel load
Applied discounts
Fuel supplier
Service station where the refueling occurred
Vehicle odometer reading at the time of refueling
Payment method used

Additionally, you can edit and assign additional details to each fuel record, including:

Groups – Assign fuel loads to specific vehicle groups within your fleet.
Tags – Organize and classify records using custom tags.
Drivers – Associate each fuel load with the responsible driver.
Payment Methods – Record the method of payment used.
Users – Identify who entered the record in the platform.
Supplier – Select the corresponding fuel supplier.
Location – Specify the service station where the refueling took place (requires the location to be pre-registered in the Suppliers module).

% of Full Tank

If you have registered the tank capacity of vehicles in Pulpo and perform full-tank refueling, the system will automatically calculate the fill percentage after each fuel load.

✔ If the tank capacity is configured, you will see the % of the tank filled for each refueling.
✔ If the tank capacity is not set, this field will show 0%.

Fuel Module Alerts

Pulpo generates automatic alerts when suspicious or abnormal fuel loads are detected. These alerts are activated in the General Settings and help identify potential irregularities in fuel consumption.

Available Alert Types

Fuel type different from the one registered for the vehicle
Refueling on weekends
Premium fuel load
Two or more fuel loads within less than 10 minutes
Fuel load exceeding the vehicle’s tank capacity

If any of these situations occur, you will receive an alert so you can take corrective action and prevent fraud or errors in fuel records.

Conclusion

The Fuel Module in Pulpo is designed to give you full control over your fleet’s fuel consumption, allowing you to optimize costs, detect irregularities, and improve operational efficiency.

If you have questions or need further assistance, our support team is always available to help.

🚀 Happy fleet management with Pulpo!
