The Tasks Module in Pulpo allows you to receive notifications and manage task deadlines related to vehicles, drivers, or payment methods. With this tool, you will never lose track of key actions needed for effective fleet management.


How to Create a Task in Pulpo

📌 1. Access the Tasks Module

✔ Navigate to the left-side panel.

✔ Select "Tasks".

📌 2. Create a Task from the Individual View

✔ Go to "Fleet" > "Vehicles", "Drivers", or "Payment Methods".

✔ Select a driver, vehicle, or payment method to open its individual view.

✔On the right side, you will find the Tasks section.

📌 3. Create a Task from the Table View

✔ In "Fleet" > "Vehicles", select a vehicle by checking the corresponding box.

✔ Click on the option to generate a new task.

📌 4. Create a Task from a Custom Field

✔ If you configure a custom date field, you can add a checkbox to activate an automatic task.


Viewing Active Tasks

📌 1. Check Tasks in the Individual View

✔ In the vehicle or driver individual view, the Tasks section displays all pending and active tasks.

📌 2. View All Tasks in the Tasks Module

✔ In the Tasks Module, you can see all tasks created on the platform.

📌 3. Identify Overdue Tasks

✔ Overdue tasks will be marked in red and include an alert symbol.


How to Configure a Task

📌 1. Create a New Task

✔ Click on the "Add" button within the Tasks Module.

📌 2. Set Dates and Notifications

Set the task’s date and time.

Choose the notification method: within the platform or via email.

Define the advance notice period for receiving the notification.

📌 3. Establish Priority and Responsibilities

Set task priority (low, medium, or high).

Assign a deadline for task completion.

Link the task to a specific vehicle, driver, or payment method.

Select the users or providers who will receive the notification.


Automatic Assignment of Responsibilities

When a task is assigned to a vehicle, the responsible person will be the assigned driver, provided that only one driver is linked.

If the assigned driver changes, the task will be automatically reassigned to the new driver.
