How to Create Custom Fields

Access the Custom Fields Settings:
🔹 In the vehicles or drivers table, go to the upper-right corner of the interface.
🔹 Click the three-dot button and select "Custom Fields" from the dropdown menu.

Organize Fields into Sections:
🔹 Custom fields are grouped into sections for better organization.
🔹 You can choose an existing section or create a new one to structure your fields.

Select the Field Type:
Pulpo offers several field types to meet different needs:

  • Check: Checkbox field

  • Date: Allows date entry

  • Time: Records a specific time

  • Selectable List: Predefined options

  • Currency: For monetary values

  • Numeric: For number input

  • Paragraph: For long text entries

  • System: Integrated with platform functionalities

  • Text: Short text field

Name the Field:
🔹 Give the field a descriptive name for easy identification.

Configure Field Properties:
🔹 Set whether the field is required or optional.
🔹 For Date fields, you can configure automatic reminders, so the designated user receives notifications.

Save the Custom Field:
🔹 Click Save to complete the process.


How to Use Custom Fields

🔹 Custom fields will automatically appear in creation forms for vehicles or drivers.
🔹 You can position them in the form via Configure Creation Forms.
