Steps to Create a User
Follow these steps to add new users to your Pulpo account:
1. Access the User Management Section
✔ Go to the left-side panel and select User Management > Users.
2. Click on "Add"
✔ At the top of the screen, click the + Add button to start the process.
3. Complete the User’s General Information
✔ In the General tab, enter the user's basic details:
Name – The user’s full name.
Email – Ensure you enter a valid email, as only one email can be registered per user.
4. Select the Product
✔ In the Services field, select the product the user will be associated with. The available options are:
Fleets – For fleet and operations management.
Insights – For advanced reports and analytics access.
5. Configure User Details
✔ User Status – Define whether the user is active or inactive.
✔ User Type – Specify the access type (Administrator, Owner, Driver, or Guest).
✔ Role – Select the role that will determine the user’s permissions and access.
6. Assign Groups (Optional)
✔ If your company uses group segmentation, select the groups the user belongs to.
✔ This helps organize users and control access more efficiently.
7. Upload Additional Documents (Optional)
✔ In the Documents section, you can upload relevant files associated with the user, such as:
Identification documents
Contracts
Certifications
8. Create the User
✔ Once all the information is completed, click the Create button to finalize the process.
Helpful Tips
✅ Roles & Permissions – Assign the appropriate role to ensure the user has access only to the necessary features.
✅ Organized Documentation – Upload any relevant documents for a complete user record.
✅ Active/Inactive Status – If the user does not need immediate access, set them as inactive until required.
