1. Set Up Your Company Information
The first step to start using Pulpo is to configure your company’s basic information. Follow these steps:
📌 Go to: Left sidebar > User Management.
✅ General Setup: Enter your company’s basic details.
✅ Define Roles and Permissions: Decide what access each team member will have.
✅ Return to Pulpo’s Main Screen: From here, you can proceed with more specific configurations.
✅ Set Up Your Personal Profile: Customize your data and preferences as an admin user.
2. Review and Configure Fleet Objects
At this stage, make sure that Pulpo’s initial settings align with your business operations. This includes:
🚗 Vehicles: Configure the categories and statuses you’ll use, such as “Active,” “Inactive,” or “In the Workshop.”
👤 Drivers: Add essential information to identify and manage your drivers.
💳 Payment Methods: Centralize payment methods to simplify financial management.
🏢 Suppliers: Register the suppliers you work with regularly.
Customization:
📂 Configure Catalogs: Review and adjust Pulpo’s default catalog values.
📌 Create Custom Fields: Add fields specific to your operation, such as dates, numbers, or tags.
📝 Set Up Forms: Customize forms so that when creating or viewing an object, the information is organized according to your needs.
3. Create or Import Your Data
You have two options to add your initial data to Pulpo:
📍 Manual Entry: Go to each module (such as vehicles or drivers) and click the “+ Add” button to enter data one by one.
📂 Bulk Import: Upload an Excel file following Pulpo’s available import templates.
💡 Tip: If you have a large volume of data to upload, the bulk import option saves time and reduces errors.
4. Invite Your Team
Pulpo allows team collaboration. To add your colleagues:
📌 Go to: Left sidebar > User Management > Users > + Add.
📧 Enter each user’s email and select a user type:
🔹 Administrator: Full access.
🔹 Owner: Access to specific modules related to their ownership.
🔹 Driver: Limited access to daily operations.
🔹 Guest: Restricted access to specific views.
📨 The user will receive an email invitation to join the team. Once accepted, they can log in and start using Pulpo.
💡 Note: Assign the appropriate roles to each user to ensure they only access the necessary features.
