Goods receipt are quality and quantity of incoming products inspected. Faulty products can be sorted out immediately so that the inventory management in the warehouse always contains correct information.

Of course, PULPO WMS receives piece-exact and also allows the documentation of batches, expiry dates and serial numbers.

Unplanned inputs from end customers are displayed under the "Returns" menu.

With PULPO WMS you do not need any paper and can follow live in the system when products arrive at the warehouse. This information is shared directly with all other systems.

  1. The warehouse employee can click on a date in the goods receipt under "CALENDAR" to see the corresponding goods receipts of the day. (Continued in step 4)

2. Under "SEARCH ORDER", the fellow user can search for orders that may have arrived at an unplanned date and are now to be received. The employee no longer has to search for orders in paper stacks or rely on the delivery notes provided by the supplier.

3. Under "NEW GOODS ENTRY", an employee can also manually receive products from a supplier.

4. When selecting a date in the "CALENDAR" view, all orders open for the day are displayed first

5. When selecting a job (regardless of whether from the "CALENDAR" view or the "SEARCH ORDER" view, you can see in detail which products should be received or ordered.

6. By swiping to the right you go to the detail view to receive and control the individual products.

The receipt of the different product types (normal product with barcode, product with batch, product with serial numbers) are explained in separate articles.

7. Now you can "accept" or "reject" products. This is part of quality control. Come for example With 50 products in the warehouse, 5 of which are damaged, the warehouse staff could choose to accept 45 and reject 5.

For the 45 accepted, PULPO WMS would then automatically create a store-to-warehouse task while the employee stores the 5 damaged products in a separate location.

This is particularly important in order not to change the available stock with an incorrect number of products and to create short sales.

(In order to make it easier for the employee to count, this can also specify the number of boxes, if appropriate information is stored in the system, for example 5 boxes = 50 individual products)

Received products are marked accordingly in the delivery order view and pushed down.

For faster identification, you can also scan a product barcode and have it marked by the app to make it easier to find.

Once you have finished checking the delivery order, the goods receipt process can be completed.

If the supplier does not send all the products, of course, the partially delivered products will also be stored and made available for picking.

Completed goods receipts lose their mark in the order view to help the user identify the outstanding tasks.

8. When receiving products with batches, both batch number and expiration date are added. This will allow PULPO to automatically ensure that products with the shortest expiration date are always shipped. In addition, individual customers may require certain minimum expiration dates. This too can ensure PULPO WMS. More information under 1.1) Goods receipt product with batch

9. When receiving products with serial numbers, they can be quickly scanned and added one after the other. Thus, PULPO ensures that in all subsequent processes, including shipping, documented where is which serial number.
