PULPO WMS provides the users with an option of partial reception of the purchase orders. This might be required in case some of the ordered products have not been received from the supplier, and the PULPO WMS user considers they will never be received completely. Such partially accepted orders will have a new status "Finished Partially".
Purchase orders in PULPO WMS can have the following statuses:
QUEUE - the status is assigned to the PO which was uploaded to the system, but the acceptance procedure has not yet started.
CHECKING - the status is assigned to the PO when the acceptance procedure was started but has not been yet finished.
FINISHED PARTIALLY - the status is assigned to the PO which has some product missing, but was ended manually.
ENDED - the status is assigned to the PO when all the products associated with the PO are checked.
Enabling the setting
There's no need to enable the setting, as it is available to PULPO WMS Web App users by default.
Option functionality
Partially finishing the Purchase Order
In case there's an order which has the status CHECKING, and a PULPO WMS user decides it will not be received completely, the user has the ability to partially finish the purchase orders.
Finishing the orders partially will make them unavailable in the INCOMING screen in the app.
To Finish the order partially, a user has to click on the corresponding order, click on FINISH PARTIALLY and confirm the action.
Re-opening the Purchase order
The user has the option to re-open the purchase order and make it available for reception (for instance, in case the missing products from the partially closed purchase order are received from the supplier).
To re-open the purchase order, the user clicks on the order with the FINISHED PARTIALLY status, clicks on RE-OPEN, and confirms the action.
The purchase order status will change to CHECKING.
In the UPO WMS Android app, in the Incoming Goods screen, the order will become available for reception again.
Re-opening and finishing the orders partially can be done multiple times until all the products as per a certain purchase order are received.
