Initial set up

  1. In PULPO WMS Web App Administration -> Settings -> Activate integrator administration switched on

The warehouse address

To adjust the address, open Administration -> Warehouses -> Select the warehouse -> click on 3 dots to change the address.

The fields required for the integration to work properly:

  • Name: Name of your warehouse

  • Company name: Name of your company

  • Line 1: Street and, if applicable, house number

  • ZIP code: The correct ZIP code of the city where the warehouse is located

  • City: The name of the city corresponding to the provided ZIP code

  • State: 2-letter code of the state

  • Country: Select the country name

  • Phone number: Must contain 10 to 15 characters, letters or numbers

Setup Integration Credentials

PULPO WMS API

In Administration -> Integrations -> Tab CREDENTIALS Create a new credential:

  1. Name the Credentials

  2. Choose type Pulpo

  3. Type the PULPO URL of the respective instance

  4. Add the credentials of the API user created in the presets

  5. Check the connection

  6. If the connection is established correctly, save the settings by pressing CREATE

ShipStation

  1. Name the Credentials

  2. Choose type ShipStation

  3. API Key

  4. Password/secret

  5. CREATE

Now the connection can be set up

In the Integrations -> Integration configuration tab, the following configuration is to be added

  • Name: Shipping Labels ShipStation

  • Type: Generate shipping labels

  • Origin credentials: PULPO WMS

  • Target credentials: ShipStation

If you've enabled the Test Integration checkbox, the generated labels will be canceled immediately.
However, this will largely hinge on your carrier's policies, so we recommend verifying the process with your carrier in advance to understand how they handle test labels.

Direct label fetch option

If you select the "Direct label fetch" option, the integration will request a label using the package weight and dimensions for the provided carrier and service. In case of an incorrect or missing carrier or service, no labels will be fetched.

To finish the setup of the integration in this case the shipping methods are to be created as described here.

Pre generate Shipstation order option

If this option is selected, PULPO WMS will create a separate Shipstation order for each closed box in PULPO. In this case, the orders will follow the rules and policies set up in Shipstation, the labels will be generated accordingly for the order. The setup of the shipping methods is not required in this case.

To finish the setup of this option, another integration to create the Shipstation orders must be setup as shown below.

Name: Shipstation orders (can be any)
Type: Sales orders
Origin: PULPO

Destination: Shipstation.
